As a charity, one of our aims is to help more people to start playing tennis and we have some ideas and plans about how to do this going forward, but right now we’d value your help with some fundraising initiatives.

Gift Aid a Donation to the Wigmore Charity

If you have mobile banking, you can make a donation directly from your banking app through Wonderful Payments. The Wonderful Payments platform only takes 10p of your donation (the lowest amount we’ve found yet), plus you can gift aid it to help raise additional funds. You can select a payment of £10, £25, £50 or choose your amount. Donate here

We’re currently exploring some other options for people to donate who don’t have online banking.

Fundraise While you Shop!

We are seeking outside help to fund these projects but would be delighted if more of our members could help us to raise some additional funds for the upkeep and improvement of our wonderful club.

There are some simple ways to help raise pennies and pounds when you spend online via shopping through the EasyFundraising app. Lots of outlets have signed on to the scheme (Tennis Point, Amazon and John Lewis to name a few) - so when you’re spending a few £ you can help raise a bit more funding for us at the same time without it costing you any more! We’d really appreciate it if you’d consider signing up. As of 2nd March 2021, we’ve got 12 supporters who have raised £156.91 for the club but we could easily improve on that! If you shop a lot through Amazon, then please sign up to smile.amazon instead. Both EasyFundraising and Smile.Amazon don’t cost you a penny (except for what you are buying of course!), but helps us raise important funds for Wigmore.

3.     Either log in with Facebook or create an account

4.     When asked to select a charity, chose Wigmore Lawn Tennis Club

5.     When you’re ready to shop, type the retailer in “Search for a retailer”

6.     If the retailer participates, you will be taken to their easyfundraising page, click “Shop Now” and you will be taken to the retailer’s website

7.     If you buy something, Wigmore will received a donation based on your spend (typically 1-3%).  Please note that Wigmore will only receive a donation if you go through the easyfundraising website first.

8.     If you already have a easyfundraising account, you can change your chosen charity to Wigmore by editing your account
