WIGMORE REOPENS on Wednesday 2nd December

Following the news that all outdoor tennis venues can reopen on 2 December, I’m pleased to say we will be reopening our doors accordingly.  Courts will be open for play from 08:00 on 2 December and social tennis will go ahead as normal from Wednesday night.  Since London is in Tier 2, this means the bar will not be open until further notice.

The EGM to approve spending on the clubhouse refurbishment was unanimously approved. Thanks to those who returned their proxies and logged into the EGM.  The Committee is excited about the next steps in this long overdue refurbishment.   

We would like to remind all members, guests and parents of junior members to respect social distancing whilst on club grounds when the club reopens. Please respect other members by not blocking paths or the entrance to the grounds/clubhouse and respect social distancing.  As this lockdown demonstrates it affects us all, especially the coaches, and we don’t want Wigmore LTC to be the source of a local outbreak. 

As before, you may access the clubhouse to use the toilets or put coins in the floodlight machine in the kitchen, otherwise the clubhouse remains out of use.  A max of 3 people in the clubhouse at any time, one in the kitchen and 1 in each loo block (unless parents with their child or people in the same bubble).
